The Senator representing Uyo Senatorial District, Obong Bassey Albert has asserted that no mortal has the political will to hinder the re-election of Governor Udom Emmanuel come March 2nd, 2019 gubernatorial poll.
Senator Albert made the assertion during Peoples Democratic party (PDP) campaign rally last weekend at Nsit Ibom Local Government Area.
He categorically stated that “no man born of a woman can stop the re-election of Governor Udom Emmanuel”.
Buttressing his fact, the Senator stated that Obong Architect Victor Attah and Sen. Godswill Akpabio of Uyo and Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Districts had their eight years in one person as such it is pertinent to support the second term bid of Governor Udom Emmanuel as a matter of equity, fairness and justice and to further guarantee the turn of Uyo Senatorial District in 2023.
While calling on Akwa Ibom people to rally round the Governeor and other PDP candidates at the polls, OBA said that the present administration is doubling its efforts in deepening the gains of democracy in the State and empowering of women in entrepreneurial enterprises, and also frowned at the deceptive traders money of the Federal Government.
He questioned why Akwa Ibom women will not reject the demeaning N10, 000 traders money when the State Government is empowering women with N250, 000 grants.
The Senator remained optimistic that Nsit Ibom PDP is grounded based on his assessment of the area during his Ward to Ward tour in the local government.
OBA assured that come May 29th, 2019 the only Governor that shall be sworn-in is governor Udom Emmanuel and called the citizenry to rally round him to ensure his success at the polls across the 31 Local Government Areas of the State as well as the victory of other PDP candidates.
